Led Strip for Energy Efficient Lighting

Energy Smart Industry is one of the leading producers of residential lighting. Lights for home are a key to flourishing. Energy Smart Industry offers a wide array of chandeliers, pendants, bath bars, wall sconces, as well as lower-level lights and fluorescent lighting.

Residential Lighting is a plan of the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), the American Lighting Assn. (ALA) and the Consortium for Energy Efficiency (CEE). The mission of this group is to encourage designers and manufacturers to come up with creative new ideas that will stimulate consumer interest in residential energy efficient light bulbs.

LED strip is a part of lighting and consumes less energy and produce brighter light. Each LED strip consumes only 5 watts of power, yet it produces light output equivalent to one 13-watt fluorescent linear lamp or three 20-watt Xenon lamps. LED is a good for consumers; not only do they consumes less energy, they effect a very long time, more than 50,000 hours. The Power top 18 LED Strip emits a uniquely uniform glow using LEDs by world leading manufacturer OSRAM Opto Semiconductors.

“When the fixture is designed properly, LEDs produce very little heat,” Blackman says. “In designing of these, house should make very slim because there was no need to leave air space around the lamps.

LEDs are prepared in a grid for better light allocation. With halogen undercabinet fixtures, you can get one bright dot of light coming from one lamp. The result is superior light extend without losing any power.

Outdoor Lighting with Energy Saving Light Bulbs

Lighting is the purposeful application of light to achieve some practical effect. Lighting includes use of both artificial light sources such as led lamps and natural light from daylight. Daylighting is the main source of light during daytime in buildings given its low cost. Artificial lighting represents a major component of energy consumption and significant part of all energy consumed in the whole world. Artificial lighting is most commonly provided today by electric lights, but gas lighting, candles, or oil lamps were used in the before few decades, and still are used in emergency. Proper lighting can enhance task performance and save energy bills. Indoor and outdoor lighting is a form of furnishing and a key part of interior design. Lighting can also be an inherent section of landscaping.

Efficient Lighting is classified in a general, localized, or task lighting bases, depending largely on the distribution of the light.

* Task lighting is mainly purposeful and is usually for the purposes such as reading or inspection of materials. For example, reading poor-quality reproductions may require task lighting levels up to 1500 lux and some inspection tasks or surgical operations require even higher levels.

* Accent lighting is mainly decorative, intended to highlight pictures, plants, or other elements of interior design or landscaping.

* General lighting fills in between the two and is intended for general lighting of an area. Indoors, this would be a basic lamp on a table or floor. Outdoors, general lighting for a parking lot may be as low as 10-20 lux (1-2 foot-candles) since pedestrians and motorists already used to the dark will need little light for crossing the area.

In homes and offices from 20 to 50 percent of total energy consumed is due to lighting. Most importantly, for some buildings over 90 percent of lighting energy consumed can be an unnecessary expense through over-illumination. The cost of that lighting can be important. One 100 W light bulb used just 6 hours a day can cost over $25 per year. Thus lighting represents a critical component of energy use today, especially in large office buildings where there are many alternatives for energy utilization in lighting. So use energy saving light bulbs and led bulbs that save the energy and save energy bills.
